After Breakfast we made our way south east on some of the best roads for cycling not to mention how freindly the French are towards cyclists, no cutting up and the occasional beep from drivers.
Well into the second part of the ride the tempreture started to soar in to the high 30's making the cycling tough but we were lucky most of the roads had been flat.
After taking on some big inclines we decided to stop for lunch just to get out of the sun for a bit as it had been taking its toll on some.
The rest of the day turned into a slower then normal pace with everyone taking on water as the heat had been intense and there had been no breeze to help cool us down.
We had been welcomed to the hotel with one last long climb to the entrance but once we arrived it had been a pleasant surprise to find the rooms all had air con.
Don't worry the rain is on its way, or so they keep saying!
