Day 5

Knowing that we had a long day ahead of us we decided it would be best to leave early so we could get to our destination in good time making the most off it as day 6 (Thursday) had been planned as a day off to relax.
We were all up at 06:00 and started on our way about 07:00 heading to Beaune on another 100+ mile ride. We had'nt gone 500 yard when the Garmin GPS had been trying to send us through fields or locked gates. This had been frustraiting some of the team but as they didnt have gps they would have to follow those that had! even though the garmin did have a mind of their own sometimes.
We found the route and made good time, the terain is now beging to get more undulated and rather then open feilds that we have been used to seeing on the horizon this has now been replaced with hills.

There had been a lot of climbing today but where we had been struggling with the ups the downs had been fun!

As we had left early and we hadn't been in any rush we decided to stop ever 30miles for a break as it had been reaching 40 degrees again.
The never ending climing has been trying peoples fittness out but that said only one rider had been struggling with hydration.
We have made to our hotel with a total milage of 104miles so we are all having a well deserved rest day tomorrow (Thursday).
